Overview
Health care providers will likely participate in many cardiac arrests “codes” during their careers—not only while on duty, but potentially during off-duty activities around the community. A patient’s cardiac arrest may be attributed to ventricular fibrillation, acute myocardial infarction, poisoning or overdose, stoke, trauma, among other causes. 

Subjects Covered
During this course we cover the skills necessary to effectively provide CPR as well as the skills to operate an AED. Skills include Rescue Breathing, CPR, Heimlich and AED Skills.
