Instructors are the foundation of Remote Medical Training, responsible for delivering world-class medical education in dynamic environments. In this role, you will translate your real-world clinical expertise into impactful learning experiences. You will guide students through our cutting-edge curriculum, facilitate immersive hands-on scenarios, and provide the mentorship necessary to build competent and confident remote medical providers.

Our courses range from two-day introductory programs to month-long professional certifications, delivered globally in both fully immersive and hybrid formats. As an instructor, you will be a key part of a team dedicated to setting the standard in remote and wilderness medical training.


 

Core Responsibilities

Deliver clear, engaging instruction based on Remote Medical Training's established curriculum and adult learning principles.

Lead and facilitate high-fidelity, hands-on training scenarios, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment.

Evaluate student performance through practical assessments and provide constructive, professional feedback to foster skill development.

Manage all course-related administrative duties, including student records, evaluations, and reporting.

Support and mentor students in our online learning platforms for hybrid course delivery.


 

Qualifications & Experience

We are seeking experienced medical professionals and educators with a passion for teaching in austere environments.

Required:

Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum two years of experience in adult education, instruction, or facilitation.

Current Remote EMT (REMT) certification or higher, with documented patient care experience.

Current Washington State EMT certification or higher.

Demonstrated knowledge of current EMS standards and adult learning methodologies.

Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred:

Washington State BLS Evaluator credential.
