Onsite: November 7-13, 2026 

All-Inclusive: An intensive, 5-day residential program for advanced medical providers. This course focuses on adapting existing clinical skills for austere environments through hands-on training and a culminating prolonged field care scenario.

Location - North Cascades Institute

Located on Diablo Lake in the heart of North Cascades National Park in Washington State, the North Cascades Environmental Learning Center campus offers unparalleled immersion. The surrounding mountains, forests, and extensive trail network provide an ideal setting for complex wilderness medicine scenarios. Lodging and food is included, allowing students to live and train in a true remote environment.

Students are responsible for their own transportation. The ELC is a three-hour drive from Seattle, WA, and best reached with a personal vehicle.

Prerequisites

Eligibility: You must be 18+ years old and hold current certification as a Paramedic, AEMT, RN, PA, or MD.

Physical Ability: You must have the ability to lift 250 lbs with assistance.

Documentation: A copy of a government-issued photo ID is required.
