This hybrid comprehensive training program is designed to develop confident, capable medical leads for remote, maritime, and expedition-based operations. The MCPIC course goes beyond basic wilderness medicine, equipping participants with the knowledge, leadership skills, and clinical decision-making ability needed to serve as the designated medical authority within their team or organization.

Location - Miller's Landing Seward Alaska

Located on the historic Miller Family Homestead on the shores of Resurrection Bay near Seward, Alaska, Millers Landing offers a truly immersive coastal wilderness experience. The rugged shoreline, dramatic fjords, and abundant marine wildlife of Kenai Fjords National Park provide an ideal and dynamic setting for complex wilderness medicine scenarios. The additional lodging package available to students provides seaside cabins and hearty, locally-sourced meals, allowing students to live and train in a authentic Alaskan environment.

Students are responsible for their own transportation. Millers Landing is a 2.5-hour drive from Anchorage, AK, and is best reached with a personal vehicle or pre-arranged shuttle.
