A 6-day immersive program designed for urban emergency responders. This course bridges the gap between conventional EMS and remote medicine, combining core competency refreshers with advanced skills practiced in demanding, hands-on scenarios.
Location - Bellingham
Situated between the Puget Sound and the North Cascades, our Bellingham location provides a premier training ground. The region's diverse forests, mountains, and marine environments offer dynamic, realistic scenarios. Courses convene daily at our training facility (address listed below). For off-site training, students will have the chance to communicate with other students and instructors to coordinate transportation needs.

Prerequisites
Eligibility: You must be 18+ years old and hold a current EMT certification.
Physical Ability: You must have the ability to lift 250 lbs with assistance.
Documentation: A copy of a government-issued photo ID is required.

This course is 6 days of in-person training, focusing on emergency medical situations in remote wilderness areas, disaster zones, offshore environments, and military operations.
CAPCE - 48 Accredited CE Credits
Fulfills the current NREMT NCCP requirements for EMT recertification and meets requirements to renew or upgrade a current EMT to a Remote Emergency Medical Technician (REMT™)
