The Journey to Remote Medicine
I was drawn to the opportunity to support people preparing to work in challenging and meaningful environments. It’s rewarding to be part of a team that helps students and organizations build the skills and confidence needed to provide care in remote settings.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family—they are a huge source of joy in my life. I also love staying connected with friends and making time for the people who keep life fun and full. When I’m not doing that, I’m usually planning my next trip to some place I have never been before.
Exploring the Outdoors
I enjoy skiing in the winter and attempting to surf whenever I get the chance. I’m drawn to adventure and to the quiet beauty of the natural world, and I feel most at home near the water—whether that’s a tropical beach or the rugged coastline of the Pacific Northwest.
Personal Motto
“Practice is the hardest part of learning, and training is the essence of transformation.”
