RMAP Course Overview
This intensive, 5-day residential program is engineered specifically for ALS providers, training you to adapt your sophisticated medical knowledge to the unique demands of remote and expeditionary medicine. It is the highest level of civilian remote medical training available, designed to empower you to manage any patient, in any environment, for up to 72 hours.
From Advanced Provider to Remote Medical Expert
The RMAP course is a comprehensive, immersive experience that delivers a singular, powerful outcome: the ability to function as a self-reliant medical expert in the most challenging conditions imaginable.

Learning Environment: A dynamic blend of expert lectures, hands-on skills labs, and high-fidelity, scenario-based training that forces adaptation and critical thinking.
Focus: This course moves beyond protocol review. It challenges providers to synthesize their existing ALS knowledge with new principles of prolonged field care, expedition planning, and environmental medicine to achieve definitive care equivalents in the field.

Adapt ALS Skills: Confidently modify advanced procedures like intubation, IV therapy, and trauma management for remote, hostile, or resource-limited settings.
Master Prolonged Patient Care: Sustain a patient for up to 72 hours using improvisation, advanced field protocols, and telemedicine support.
Lead Expeditionary Health: Develop expertise in risk assessment, expedition medical planning, team hygiene, and psychological care in isolated areas.
Deliver Definitive Field Care: Build capabilities for delivering definitive care equivalents, including minor surgical procedures, fracture reductions, and comprehensive evacuation strategies.
