Wesley Segar brings nearly 15 years of dedicated, full-time experience in the fire service to the classroom. Serving the communities of Whatcom County, they began their career as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) before advancing to their current role as a Paramedic. This extensive background in frontline 911 response has provided Wesley with profound, hands-on expertise in high-pressure clinical decision-making, trauma management, and advanced life support. For students and clients, Wesley translates this wealth of dynamic, real-world emergency experience into practical, accessible instruction, teaching learners how to remain calm and effective when it matters most.
