Remote Medicine Upgrade and Recertification
For the professional Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), recertification is a recurring requirement. However, standard refresher courses often represent a passive fulfillment of hours rather than a genuine enhancement of skill. This creates a critical gap for professionals who operate—or aspire to operate—in remote, austere, or expeditionary environments. The Remote Medicine Upgrade and Recertification (RMUR™) course is the definitive solution to this problem. This intensive, 6-day in-person program is engineered to simultaneously meet all NREMT National Continued Competency Program (NCCP) requirements for EMT recertification while upgrading the provider’s capabilities to the Remote EMT™ (REMT) standard. This white paper details how the RMUR™ model transforms a mandatory recertification into a career-defining opportunity for professional development and skill mastery.
